In 1916, the Jefferson Park Ladies' Improvement Club acquired the house, and in 1976 it was listed in the Washington Heritage Register and the National Register of Historic Places as the Turner-Koepf House. It remains the oldest house in the Beacon Hill of Seattle.
The Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs (WSFGC) obtained the house in 1977 to serve as a headquarters for its meetings. The Garden House is administered by a WSFGC Board of Trustees, supervised by a WSFGC member and is maintained by a caretaker/agent.
Currently, the house is used by WSFGC and member garden clubs, community organizations, ad is available for rental to responsible individuals for meetings, weddings, receptions and other events.
