SECTION I.  DISPLAYS- for Club/District Competition.  (Districts only for this show).

Eligible for the Club Competition Award.  There must be at least 7 but no more than 10 individual containers exhibited within each display.  36” space available for staging.  Exhibit must be entered in the name of the district & it’s Director.  Pre-registration required with Linda Maida.

 

Class 28.  Potted Foliage Plants- maximum diameter of pot- 10”.

Class 29.  Potted Flowering Plants- maximum diameter of pot – 10”.

Eligible for Club Competition Award.  Vignettes reflecting new designs of a certain era.

  To be staged on risers.  Each Vignette will have 36” x 48” space.

SECTION B.  THE RED CARPET AWAITS –Eligible for Tricolor Award- all plant material used must be fresh.

Class 2.  Top Hat & Tails- A Creative Design staged using a black pedestal, 18” square, 36” high, within a 24” floor space.  Viewed from all sides. 

Class 3.  Sheer EleganceA Transparency Design staged using an open black column with a 15” x 16” top, 26” from the floor, within a 24” floor space. Viewed from all sides. 

Class 4.  Diamonds- A design staged on a 27” x 30” table with 30” height from floor.  Table will be covered to floor in white by committee.  Background wall is beige with brown wood tones. Power

available.

           

SECTION C.  HOLLYWOOD PREMIERES  -Eligible for Designer’s Choice Award

Class 5.  Diamonds are Forever –Creative Design staged using a 36” section of a table, 30” deep, skirted in black.  Power available.

Class 6. Jewel of the Nile – A Design –staged using an open black column 15” x 16” top, with 24” from floor. Viewed from all sides.

Class 7.  Rhinestone Cowboy – A Creative Reflective Design- staged using a black pedestal 18” square, 36” high, viewed from all sides. 

 

SECTION D.  LIFE STYLES OF THE RICH & FAMOUS –Eligible for the Award of Distinction – All plant material used must be dried.

Class 8.  Jet Set – A Creative floor design staged within a 36” floor space. Staging provided by designer.  Power available.

Class 9.  High BrowA design staged using two (half-round black tables) 24” diameter x 12” deep, with heights of 24” and 30” staged against a wall. Power source available. 

Class 10.  Show Biz – An Illuminary Design staged using an open black column with a 15” x 16” top, 24” height from floor.  Power available, & viewed from all sides. 

 

SECTION E.  EXQUISITE DINING – Eligible for Table Artistry Award-Functional Tables & Phyllis Danielson Table Setting Award.

Class 11.  Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Breakfast Table for two staged on a 27” x 30” table, 30” high, draped in white to floor by committee, with designer providing overlay.  Power available.

Class 12.  Champagne Wishes & Caviar Dreams – Buffet & Beverage table staged on a 6’ length by 30” wide table draped to floor in black by committee with designer providing overlay.  Viewed from all sides.

Class 13. Divine Decadence – A Dessert Table for two staged on a 27” x 30” table with a 30” ht from floor.  Table will be draped to floor in white by committee with designer providing overlay.  Viewed from all sides. 

 

SECTION F.  EPICUREAN JOURNEYS –Eligible for Table Artistry Award- Exhibition Tables &

 Phyllis Danielson Table Setting Award.

Class 14.  High Tea – Exhibition Table Type I staged on a 30” round table 24” high.  Table will be

 covered to floor in white by committee with designer providing overlay.  Viewed from all sides. 

Class 15.  Orient Express.  Exhibition Table Type II – Informal dinner, using a 36” round acrylic riser,

12” from floor within a 36” floor space.  Viewed from all sides. 

 Class 16.  Safari Alfresco Luncheon – Exhibition Table Type II, using innovative staging provided by

 the exhibitor within a 36” floor space.  Viewed from all sides.

 

SECTION G.  DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR Eligible for Petite Award –Miniature Designs not to

 exceed 5” in height, width, and depth.  All plant material is designer’s choice.

 choice of plant material.

Class 21.  Diamond Dust- A Small Design that sparkles & shines, staged on a black color-changing light box placed on a clear plastic riser provided by committee.  Designer's Choice of plant material.

Class 22.  Solitaire- A Small Design staged inside an octagonal frame provided by the committee.

Class 2.  Masque Ball – A mask staged on a white foam head- provided by committee.

Class 3.  Flourishes – A corsage & boutonniere for an Anniversary Party staged on a 12” black velvet

 pillow provided by committee.
